thought I would share this pic of the dh and I back in 1977... I''m the gap toothed blonde to the left and he''s the goofy faced boy with the mickey shirt to the right. I can''t believe I married that boy!!! :)

this is first day of school 1977 (the other one was may 77) and notice our matching lunchboxes?? Between us was my best friend, now sister in law!

Oh my goodness Cehra, thanks for sharing! DH and I have known each other for a long time, but, not THAT long. i think it''s so sweet that you two grew up together.

Too cute!! You remind me of Rebecca Demourney ( SP??) What a wonderful history you two have. Love it!!!

gosh you know, now that you mention it I think I did!! I totally forgot about that!! oops!! saraspam LOL!! I went to post a pic of my dog and saw those and thought I''d share them... it makes me feel good to look at those.... I feel better but I still feel kinda down so I''m cheering myself up LOL As soon as the kids go to bed I''m popping in a movie since dh is in the studio studying....

yeah :) we met summer of 75 when he was 3 and I was 5 LOL I moved away when I was 9 though and didn''t see him until I was almost 17. He was 15 and dorky so it really wasn''t until he was 17 that I started thinking he was okay and about 6 mos later fresh out of high school and 18 we started dating... I kinda robbed the cradle in a way since I''d been on my own working and being "an adult" for 2 1/2 years prior to that... he grew up fast in the navy though!!

I never saw it but agree you should try it. My sister ONLY goes by reviews and misses some really good movies. Even when I tell her she would love one she never listens.

some "good" movies just make me fall asleep... and some "bad" movies have me howling with laughter!!! And sometimes there''s nothing better than a campy and lame predictable movie about sorority girls living in a haunted mansion with a satanic priest or yanno - whatever LOL

I don''t think so LOL I mean... he was always such a straight arrow sort of kid and his sister and I were always obnoxious. My father claims he always watched and adored me but I dunno and dh claims he didn''t. I remember chasing him around because he had an outtie belly button and I wanted to poke it and feel what it felt like and he could always outrun me and he NEVER let me touch it!!!! Years and years later we were in bed talking and I remembered and I pulled the sheet down to poke it knowing now he wouldn''t dare run away and ::gasp!:: it had sunk in!!!! I was so disappointed!!! LMAO!!! We also played doctor once :x but I don''t think he got a crush on me until he was 15 and I was 17 and I was pretty much at my peak and he was still just a little boy who hadn''t quite hit puberty full on yet. When he was 17 and I was 19 my (now) nephew was born and I went down to visit and he gave me THE BEST hug I''d ever had in my life. He''s the greatest hugger in the world. But it was another 6 months and a baudy trip to tijuana and WAY too much tequila to get the relationship started hahaha It wasn''t a friendship that developed... it was 15 years of loving him like a little brother and then a totally awesome physical relationship... THEN came the in love and we''ve been together 16 1/2 years now :) I still think it''s weird sometimes... but it''s also very normal :)
