just for fun diamond lingo

I was thinking how funny diamond lingo could be in everyday life.

For example-is your DH a FL or is he a VS1? Does he have any feathers or clouds not shown? How about fluor?

I was thinking about our two dogs and one is a F in color, the other is a I-J. Oliver is a VS 1, and Zoey is an SI 2 I''m afraid. Seeing as how they came from the animal shelter, the paper work I have on them is probably the equivalent of a EGL Israel cert.!

We got what we thought was an EGL Israel from the pound and found out we had an AGS0 (in terms of breed, not behavior, LOL!).

As for the rest of my life, I previously had an oval with "leaky ends" --

And I would be be very uncomfortable if I had a feather in my girdle!

Well...my husband was a radiant, but with marriage, he's turning round.

OK, let me really think about this. I would say my hubby is an eye clean SI2...no one would suspect the defects because it's quite masked by the scintillation of an ideal cut. He definitely has the hearts...AND arrows. Ouch!!!

My honey is like a radiant with as much sparkle as a ideal cut round. He''s got light and personality come out of him from all directions and has quite a bit of fire in him too!! He''s an artist, so I think the radiant would fit him, plus he''s tall with a nice build...not as much round now that he lost 20 pounds haha!!

DH is a lovely M in color...golden from outdoor sports. But in the winter, he can be an icy white D!

He has a noticeable carbon spot on his left arm. That makes it easy for me to identify him.

When we're all dressed up, he preens like a Marquis-e. (LOL) I think his asscher is kind of cute.

And luckily, there is nothing so small on his person that would require using a loupe.

I think my FI would be a J-SI1 asscher with just one birthmark inclusion you could see from the side. He''s a deep and sensitive person, one of the smartest people I know. Unfortunately, from the way he way raised (

) and the support he lacked as a child, he doesn''t have much confidence and has a tendency to... lack manners.

Although he''s getting much better, at least when I''m around!

So, he is often perceived as much less than he actually is (people only see the J colour and the inclusion...). All he needs is some love and support, opportunities and respect (the perfect setting) and he is the most beautiful diamond in the world.
