Just Engaged! Custom Joe Escobar Platinum Halo

Hi Everyone!

A few months ago I asked for any photos of round halo settings with smaller diamonds. After a bunch of research here (all your posts were extremely helpful!), I decided to have a custom platinum setting made by Joe Escobar Diamonds. I worked with Mark who was extremely helpful, friendly, and kind. He was so patient with me and worked extra hard to make the ring exactly what I envisioned, and selected a wonderful diamond for me. I'd absolutely recommend Joe Escobar and the great work that they do. I thought I would include some photos for you all to see how it turned out, and for any future people interested in smaller halo rings. This past weekend she said yes, and she loves the ring, so I am happy! The center diamond is a 0.62ct GIA XXX G SI1 H&A that Mark selected, and the setting is 0.44ct in platinum.

Thank you! When we were ring shopping, she saw one that had the pears and fell in love with that aspect. Turns out that there are maybe like 3 stock settings in existence that have the pears with no halo, and all 3 had other aspects that I determined she wouldn't like. It all worked out though - it was actually cheaper to make a custom setting with all the things she wanted, and I could go with platinum instead of white gold.
