Do you I need to see an appraiser to double check the stones. They are already set as earrings.....
I can assume they are what they are supposed to be from the GIA cert., right?

or

should I see an appraisal to double check?

Muchas Gracias,
C.

are they laser inscribed? you could just go to a jeweler or get a loupe and check that the numbers match.

if you want an appraisal for insurance purposes that is a different matter.

I agree with slg. Just have a jeweler verify that the stones are the ones in the lab reports. My insurance has always accepted copies of the lab reports and the sales receipt, but if yours doesn't, many fine jewelers do insurance appraisals if you don't have access to an independent appraiser.

If they are GIA certed stones I would trust that the cert is accurate, however I would want to verify that those stones do match the certs.
