Jumbo Knuckles! Am I the nly one?

I grew up thinking that your ring size is the same as your shoe size... guess my mom didnt know everything after all!

Oh my! The challenge never ends!

I bought a setting a few weeks ago (believed the info that said it was a size 7). Had it long enogh to fall in love with it. Bought the rock for it last Friday ... and found out that a balanced/custom ring is very hard to increase ... especially 3 sizes (ends up the setting is really a 6 ... an Ebay boo boo). Now I''m going to have it chopped apart in 4 places and put back together. The center may still be a bit out of round.. but it will fit over my apparently big knuckle!I was looking at web sites and noticed most rings stop at size 8 (ie:Moderna)are there any companies that make my size without having to make it bigger? Am I the only gal with big knuckles???
