YAY!! my RH gf has her own thread.![]()
You know, I don''t really have any serious hobbies at this point. I''ve just always been so busy that I''ve never taken too much time for anything. I kind of consider my job to be part hobby as well. I just love it that much, and spend so much time there, that it''s both for me. And when I was married, I would spend a lot of time helping C with his business.Date: 2/12/2009 10:35:09 AM

Hey tlh! We are so on for Saturday! I''m seriously drooling just thinking about brownies! No allergies to chocolate (thank God!) Fudge iceing sounds delightful as well! I do believe I shall start starving myself as of yesterday!Date: 2/12/2009 1:17:53 PM

Jo! My sexy lady! I am soo happy you have a thread started!
I read through your divorce thread, and my heart breaks for you. Saturday... I''m still making you some brownies! I hope you like fudge iceing on top! are you allergic to this?
Who is your hero and why?
You know, a shy person is like an oyster... there;s always something really beautiful inside, and only when they are relaxed, will they open up and show you.... I like that your dad is shy. Maybe it explains your inner peace that you have???Date: 2/12/2009 8:50:13 PM

My hero......that''s a tough question. I truely admire a lot of various people for very different reasons. But the biggest one would have to be my dad. I just adore him more than words could ever describe! If any of you were to meet him, you''d probably wouldn''t be too impressed. He''s very antisocial and shy. He and mom have gone to the same church for probably almost 20 years, and I don''t think anyone there has ever heard him utter a word. Some people probably think he''s mute. But when its just us, he talks and talks. He has the greatest jokes. Every week when I go down to visit, he always has a bunch of clippings from newspapers and magazines that he thinks will make me laugh. I''ve always been daddy''s girl. Still am. He''s full of advice and common sense, but has the wisdom to know that I''m most likely just gonna do whatever the heck I want anyways. I admire him too, for his intelligence. He only has a high school diploma, but can build a beautiful home from the ground up. I love him for all his flaws and quirks, as most of them are my own as well. I''ll see if I can find a good picture of us together, although I don''t know if he''s game for having his picture up on the www.......
Perhaps so...we are so much alike, although I''m not too shy. Not anymore. I used to be VERY shy, but now I''ve become more social and outgoing. Actually, that''s something that''s gotten better since I''ve been working on breaking out of my marriage. He had me so wrapped up on "acting just right" or "saying the right things" that I just really always kept to myself. Sometimes he would "coach" me on things to say to people when we''d go to a dinner party or meet with someI kept people at arms length, as he didn''t like me going out with friends. Lot of jealousy. Even of my girlfriends.Date: 2/12/2009 9:09:43 PM

Well I already said he was a TURD.![]()
GO PACK GO! I may be shooting myself here, but Brett disappointed me last year. I thought he was in poor character giving away secrets to the Jets. TURD. I do like the new QB. He is kinda cute, in a Jake Gyllenhal kinda way.
So you are obsessed with shopping... what is your weapon of choice?
Just wanted to say that I can relate to the above...Date: 2/13/2009 10:21:49 AM

And the packers. Do I like the packers? No. I LOVE the Packers! I bleed green and gold!
Hi Monnie! I do like being able to relate to people through commonalities, but I wish we didn''t have this particular subject in common. But its nice to know I''m not alone! I''m now in a phase of life where I''m working to rediscover myself. I''m being me. Not the me that he wanted. Just the me that I am.Date: 2/13/2009 11:29:38 AM

It''s great reading about you and getting to know you better, Jodi! My aunt and uncle live in WI and they are HUGE, HUGE, HUGE Packer fans!!! They like to dress up and wear funny green and gold outfits and wigs on game days and they always send me pics of themselves looking completely ridiculous, it''s so funny! You Packer fans are a crazy group.![]()
