Jewelers/Wholesalers in New Orleans?

Please post if you have recommendations for jewelers/wholesalers in New Orleans. My girlfriend and I are looking for a round stone, 1.5 ct. F VS1 or better to have set in the SuperbCert Tiffany setting. We''ve browsed online and at retail stores, and we''re going to Beje Designs tomorrow. Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated. My sister used to go to Adler''s but they''re pretty expensive so she now uses an older family run outfit - Ken Friend. Dont have the contact info but I''m sure you can look him up. Sounds like a nice guy and seems like he can source stones for you as well since he has a shop in NYC as well.

Do some price searching on Pricescope and on some Internet vendor sites. Learn a little about what color, clarity and cut quality you can afford BEFORE you shop. If you are presented with a great bargain, you will then be prepared to buy it. Without preparation, you can't possibly know enough to decide. Don't be impulsive. Take your time.
