hello,

i saw mr. averbrook a couple of days ago to appraise my ring now that the reset is done and i had to once again recommend him to anyone in the new england area. he''s great! initially i was nervous going to see an independent appraiser, i didn''t know what to expect and i was a bit intimidated. no worries there, there is nothing pretentious about him or the experience. he couldn''t be more pleasant, he included me in the process (where appropriate, i.e. with color grading) which was fun and informative for me, he was happy to answer any questions i had, he is meticulous, and i feel good knowing i have a professional asessment of my diamond and setting and that everything looks secure. oh, and his pricing is very reasonable, well worth the time and effort!

Awesome, I enjoy reading his posts here on PS.

Thanks for the post. Jeff is a great contributor to Pricescope. Glad that you enjoyed your time with him.

One clarification on the kind gent's behalf; his last name is spelled Averbook.

And Nicrez's list, where you're definitely naughty.

Not so fast Mr. Grinch.

I''m fully Nicrez-aware, and about 50/50 for putting that vowel in the right place. ''Tis a typo, not a learned error.

If you''re making a list you better be checking it twice, buster.
