When hubs and I got engaged in 2010, we were on a tight budget and had decided to put the majority of our ring funds into the diamond and save the setting I had my eye on for a later reset. 4 years, 2 moves, 2 new jobs, and 1 precious new baby later, it was finally time to have my reset done. I researched for months and months, and even changed my mind from where I started and ended up at Jewels by Erica Grace. I love cushion cut diamonds but a cushion cut with the finger coverage I wanted was way too expensive so I chose a 1.7 carat round brilliant. Thank goodness JbEG makes a gorgeous cushion halo to accommodate a round diamond, and manage to do so with no gaps in the rounded corners. I have no idea how it works, but it just does. So, first is my original, shown with my existing 1.0 carat eternity wedding band.
