Jackpot $$$ Left Over.... Bangle or Hoops?

Hello everyone,
For those of you who helped me with picking out diamond studs, Thank you!!! I received my WF studs a little over a week ago and absolutely love them. I ended up going with the 1.16 tcw pair in the martini setting. They are gorgeous. I have not taken any pics yet, but will post them as soon as I do.

Now on to the next project... I have a little over $1,000 left from the $$$ that I won. I would like to buy either a pair of really really really thin, kinda big, diamond hoops or a really really really thin diamond bangle. Anyone have any recommendations of where I can look? I see a bangle on the WF website that fits within my budget, but I don''t know if it will look thin enough. Plus, I have a tiny wrist, so it may be too big. As for hoops, I haven''t seen any real thin pave-ish pairs on any of the vendor''s websites. I am thinking that I will email WF on monday to see how much it would cost to custom make them.

well i want some thin pave hoops too but i have the WF diamond bangle, it''s pretty thin, i think 2.5mm? the 1c version might be closer to 2.2mm. i have the 1.5c version. it''s substantial though, doesn''t look super thin, so it might not be thin enough for you. my girlfriend has an amazing super thin shared prong tennis bracelet that i think is 1.5mm so it''s SUPER thin, just like a line of super skinny sparkle on the wrist, i love that look too. i think personally you can''t go wrong with hoops or bracelet, maybe just think about what you would wear more.

I think I would go with the 1 ct WF bangle, b/c it is just a touch thinner than the others, and it is closer to what I would like to spend. I am going to have to call them on monday though to find out how big it is in diameter b/c I would probably have to get it made smaller than it comes. I guess that would probably change the price then too, b/c it may be considered a custom job. I am going to ask them about making hoops too.

I fear it might be pricescope heresy to say this, but considering the "Law of Diminishing Returns" and the fact that you already purchased some diamond earrings with your win, I would probably get that Louis Vuitton you mentioned in your other thread instead.

Have you set aside $ to cover the taxes on your winnings? I know that sounds a bit overpractical, but that is something to consider before buying more diamonds.

Well, I think I am leaning towards the bangle for sure. Either that, or saving it and adding onto the left overs until I have enough to upgrade the earrings eventually. Although, I think anything bigger on me may look too big!

Fleur-de-lis: I do love that bag, but since I already have two different ones that are somewhat similar (both are the lv monogram), I think I am going to hold off on it.

MC: Now that doesn''t sound like any fun, does it?

I know it is the responsible thing to do, but...nah. I just cant bring myself to do that. The way I see it is that this is money that I wouldn''t have had anyways, so I should just consider it a gift. I know I have to pay taxes on it, but since I usually get a small return at the end of the year, I figure I probably just won''t get any return this year. I don''t think I will end up having to pay any taxes out of pocket... I hope!

Oh, one more question... does any one know if there is a show me your bangle thread somewhere around here? I would love to see some real life pictures of the wf bangle.

I know, sorry. Paying taxes was a lame answer! I'm working on tax & financial stuff right now, so that is the main topic on my mind. Can't wait to get that stuff over with!
