J color for asscher pendant/studs?

hi everyone!!!

i''m really wanting an asscher cut pendant and some studs. Im probably looking at smaller stones (maybe 3.5-4.5 mm for the studs, 5 mm for the pendant) and all that I seem to find in my budget are J color.

I know from PS that asschers tend to show more color than other cuts, so I am concerned about yellow tinge to these stones. Do you know if, in this small of a size, a J color asscher would still look yellow hued? are lower "colors" (I,J) on the diamond scale as noticeable on studs and pendants as they are in rings???

i would set both in white gold.

It may be true that step cuts show color more, but these are relatively small and not as exposed to close scrutiny during wear as ring stones are. J should be ok... IMO. Is it possible to see for yourself ?
