Its Fi''s b''day tomorrow, so good chance I will be making a batch.

Arjunajane: I might take you up on the offer to visit! It was -22 this morning with a windchill of -50! I assume you are in Australia? I have a good friend in Melbourne area (Greensborough) I would love to see again as it has been 2004 since I last visited your beautiful shores!

Dee, this is my other fave one (and a titch healthier for the girls).
Take a bunch of fresh asparagus, wrap individual shoots in good prusciutto or nice thin bacon, leave tips bare. Season and bake in oven until bacon and tips of asparagus are crispy.
Do soft boiled eggs, 2 each.
Use your asparagus as you would toast soldiers, and dip into eggs - delish!
I swear, I never liked asparagus until I tried this recipe - now we have it all the time.
okay, now my jack is over!
Aw, aren''t you sweet cooking for your guy when you couldn''t eat it!Date: 1/17/2009 3:36:51 AM

I love crumpets but I am wheat intolerant so no I only got to make and not eat, however I am seriously going to try that asparagus dish that sounds delish
