Ya - I don't think its reached that yet, probably about 37 or so. Very dry and humid though..

There have been fires everywhere today, including a big bushfire in Kings Park (big national park about 5mins from CBD)

I have to say though, I've never seen snow, but I'm not sure if I'd trade right now with those in the US having to shovel drives etc every day!



ETA: urgh, I just saw on news that the park fire was started by a firebug. I will never understand why idiots do that stuff.

MrsG, do you live in Jakarta? I''ve spent some time in Indo, I like it there alot.

Dee, this is my other fave one (and a titch healthier for the girls).

Take a bunch of fresh asparagus, wrap individual shoots in good prusciutto or nice thin bacon, leave tips bare. Season and bake in oven until bacon and tips of asparagus are crispy.
Do soft boiled eggs, 2 each.

Use your asparagus as you would toast soldiers, and dip into eggs - delish!

I swear, I never liked asparagus until I tried this recipe - now we have it all the time.
