It's finally here. It's been a long 3 months since my search began. I want to thank everyone here who's helped me during the process of buying the diamond to opinions on the custom setting.
My gf (well soon to be fiance, wanted to share here first!
) has this total modern retro vibe going, think mad men (or should I say mad women) but with sleeker lines. So I decided to get her a vintage styled rock with a more modern setting. Whiteflash totally guided me through the entire way. Victoria was extremely helpful when I was choosing a stone. And their entire team afterwords was always in communication with me through every step of the way.
Honestly I don't know how much money I would have been fleeced, if I didn't find this forum and the "preferred vendors" here. Thanks guys!

1.22ct, G, VS1 Marquise
Platinum braided shank (it's a little more than 1/2 shank) with one braid plain and one braid ACA melees.
Trellis inspired setting.
The diamond really sparkles like crazy to the point where you don't even notice the very minimal bowtie, I just don't know how to capture that on a camera.
