It's been a long time! I miss you guys!

Hi colored stone lovers! I haven't been around much lately. I haven't had money to buy stones or to set the ones I have. We are getting married April 2, 2010 and I've been so busy. We just got back from Europe. We went to Belgium for a friend's wedding. It was great. I got an amazing synthetic stone (pink) from my boss that I had set by a mall jeweler. We found a cheap ring and took the stone out. I SO wish I could post a picture. It's lovely, but as it's not real . . . well you know. I love my boss so much. He's an older guy who is ready to retire. He's part owner of the company. I swear we were related in a past life. So the stone will have sentimental value to me. It's huge and grabs everyone's attention! I'm currently shopping for wedding bands and I'd like to reset my engagement stone. I posted in Rocky Talk. I'm asking all my colored friends to go over there and HELP me! So this might be an illegal thread, but I miss you guys and wanted to say hi (and ask for help!). Now I'm going to scroll through here and see what I've been missing!

Welcome back! Since you mentioned some coloured stones, maybe this thread will stick around. Umm…do you mean April 2, 2011 because the date you mention has already passed? Whichever it is, congratulation on your new connubial status.

Yeah yeah! I mean April 2, 2011. I have the hardest time getting my fingers to type 2011. It's either 2010 by default or I really screw up and type 2001. *eye roll* I SO wish I could post a pic of my new ring. Just for the bling factor! Chrono - I think you might have been the one to tell me how to ID if it was synthetic. I can't remember, I posted that prior to vacation. I really want to get one of my other stones set by JKT, but I can't afford her right now I've seen some LOVELY stuff on here since I've been gone. She's amazing!
