Hello PSers! Not sure if this is the right place for my first post but here goes! I have been educating myself here for (gulp) about five years off and on. The first time I found it was when I got engaged in 2003 and was working on picking out a diamond ring. I learned so much! However, that relationship didn''t work out. I did end up getting married about three years later to my wonderful husband (a whole other ering story too). We have a 2.5 year old and are currently expecting baby #2.
So how did I find myself back at PS? Well, I turned 35 this week. Yikes! But as 35 was approaching, and as this pregnancy was even harder than the last, I thought to myself: Self! You deserve something! After 2 kids, a whole-house renovation, and no vacation in three years I wanted something I could wear every day. Specifically, something involving diamonds! Pricescope here I come! I decided I wanted diamond studs.
But after a lot of researching and thinking what I''d actually wear, and looking at all the wonderful pics posted here, I decided on hoops instead. I am more of a hoops person than a studs person. Does that make sense? And our budget was very small (~$500) so that didn''t go too far in the studs department.
After one false start with Blue Nile (eek, another story) I finally settled on (drum roll please!) Whiteflash Huggable Hoops in WG! Ok, I don''t actually have them yet, but dealing with Whiteflash has been nothing short of a stupendous experience. It''s not like I was spending $10,000 on a huge rock. These are $450 earrings. Yet the white glove treatment I got was out of this world. I can''t wait to get the earrings, but I can''t thank PS enough for bringing Whiteflash to my attention.
