    That is super cool, though I wish that the volcano hadn’t erupted to cause this to occur!

    There's a place on Maui called the Olivine Pools.
    It's a picturesque tidal pool area and the surrounding rock is all peppered with little green crystals......Peridot!
    Of course, Pele sends bad luck if you take anything...............

    This is so cool.... I know people in Hawaii right now...wonder if they could bring me back some...specimens :mrgreen2:

There’s a whole beach on the island in a different location that consists entirely of olivine crystals. It’s pretty impressive to see. This pic doesn’t show the green color too well, but it’s defintely a green sand beach.
