I still get a real kick out of it, even after wearing it for three years now.
I love seeing it change in differing lighting environments.
I love being blasted with a surprise flash of violet or green when I'm least expecting it.
I'll often move it very slowly to study how the red morphs into red-orange, then orange, then orange-yellow etc.
I'll try to slowly move through the entire rainbow spectrum without loosing it.
The purity, intensity and saturation of the colors is indescribably breathtaking.
It's hard to describe but it is like the difference between live and recorded music.
Printed color, color on TV or film or a computer screen is not as pure and vivid.
The pure color almost stimulates an gut emotional reaction, as does live music.
The crimson creates a mood very different from the blue-violet.
The yellow seems to beam with happiness.
The surprises of beauty it offers throughout the day is kind of like smelling a rose as you are going for a walk, or catching an inspiring glimpse of nature.
I don't think the novelty or thrill will ever wear off for me.
I usually clean it 2 or 3 times a day.
It just looks so much better.
When your diamond is dirty you are not getting what you paid for.
Am I weird?
Do you all get the same thrill I get?
Or for some of you has the novelty worn off or do you take your diamond for granted?
