I think it looks pretty good, just based on specs. Any images? has he seen it? if he has seen it, and likes it, the numbers just confirms that it is a beautiful diamond to me at least

Perhaps nice, but on the deep side.

Slightly deeper than ideal, borderline angles, could be good if the lower half are on the large side and the rounding of numbers by GIA is in the correct direction.

Any chance of getting an idealscope image?

No guys, its at Costco....He seems intent on getting it, its already set into a simple platinum setting and the price is $5499. It might not suck...

Its a bit deep and is facing up more like a 1 ct stone. But depending on various other factors such as overall cutting precision etc then it might be a very attractive diamond.

with GIA or IGI report? some Costco stones come with GIA and some with IGI.

Everyone else gave good suggestions, it will probably be decent. I would be bothered by it facing up small though.

There is something funny about buying an e-ring at a wholesale wharehouse, but I guess it is no funnier than buying it on the internet

The modern era makes me chuckle sometimes.
