Is this diamond a good deal?

I'm still learning about what to look for in a diamond for an engagement ring. Our budget is somewhere between $11,000-15,000. Ideally, I'd like something around 1.8ct (princess) although I'd probably forego some size for quality.

Can you tell me your thoughts on this diamond?

Should I go smaller with a better cut? How much smaller would I have to go to stay within my budget?

For princess cuts, unless you go with a proven AGS0 princess stone, all other certs (GIA included) don''t tell you a whole lot. The last I heard, JA is in the process of having the capability to photograph Idealscope pictures. You will need Idealscope and ASET pictures for us to say if this PC is any good.
