Seller is asking 1700. I love it but I don't know if it's a good price.

I should add that if it is an Ashoka, I don't know how they perform. Center is a .65 carat.

I agree it is a crisscut. I saw a bunch of Ashoka's recently and I was disappointed in how dull they seemed. Just my opinion, of course. Not as much sparkle as I recall from seeing them in the past.

What's the difference between a Tycoon and a crisscut? This looks like the Tycoons I have seen (granted, that's not many), and I don't think I could pick out the differences.

I think the Crisscuts have more/thinner facets... but I've never seen a Tycoon IRL.

Here's a comparison photo. Tycoon on left, Crisscut on right.

When I looked at the Crisscuts, I noticed that it takes a sizable stone to appreciate the cool faceting. The ones I saw were 3-4+ cts. [emoji7]

Thanks for the comparison pictures. I'm still having a hard time with the differences, but admittedly I have really terrible eyesight. Is the difference mainly more X's in the center portion?

Yeah, the Crisscuts have lots more facets, it seems... very splintery.

Agreed- I think it looks like a Crisscut. I don't really love them...they look sort of odd to me.
