Is this a sapphire inclusion?

Hi All,
I just received a pair of sapphires. I love their deep color and scintillation. However in direct sunlight I see a white milky cloud in the sapphire. I can see it in indoor lighting too but I have to really look closely since it blends with the facets. What is this? Will this impact the durability of the stone?

What does it look like when louped? I'm guessing those are microscopic inclusions that are grouped together so as to appear cloudy, which shows up under strong lighting.

Many sapphires have what's known as "silk", or tiny inclusions that can give the gem a cloudy or sleepy look. Some consider it desirable up to a point, some want clear gems. It's a personal choice - you'll have to decide whether or not you like the look. It will not impact durability in any way.
