I bought a F VS2 Diamond set in a platnium 2.5 band for $4100. The table is 59% and the depth is 60% and it is GIA cert. The polish and sym. are both Very Good with No Flor. or cutlet. Was this a good price???

Sounds great - congratulations!

(pssst.......How'd I do?)

Its the steal of the century for a 500ct diamond.

I bought the diamond from Blue Nile thinking I ws getting a great deal compared to places at the mall but now I am not sure... any more opinions on how I did?

Well I found my .0001ct diamond in a sack of coal for free.

Read my answers then read your post and see what you left out.....

If you bought from Blue Nile you did get a better deal than a mall store.
As far as could you have got a better deal online... maybe, maybe not but its a little late now isnt it?

hehehe good..................

You forgot to mention how many points (carat weight) the center stone is.

Blue Nile does offer competitive pricing above your average local retail jewelry store. If you are happy with it, great!

Maybe you could have saved a few hundred dollars by going with a different internet site that does not have as much name recognition as Blue Nile, but since you avoided awful retail prices and did not list anything about the diamond that jumped out as being an "uh oh," I think you can rest easy. Just because you maybe could have saved a little bit of money by going with a lesser known jeweler does not mean that it would have been worth all the research you would have had to do. So enjoy your stone, and if you want more price comparison analysis, please tell us how much the stone weighs.

That is an excellent price for a diamond which was so large that it actually does not come with any carat weight information.

bargain of the century!

You paid what would be considered slightly high end internet price with the information givin thats as close as anyone can get.
This is cheaper than a any mall store iv seen for that quality.
So relax and enjoy your ring you got a decent deal.

Jenny, what information are you seeking? Are you thinking about returning the stone? I believe Blue Nile has a 30 day return policy. Or, are you seeking afirmation on your purchase? If you do a search on pricescope, you will find that Blue Nile is not the cheapest route to internet buying; but, there are some satified customers.
