Hi! Can anyone help advise whether this is worthwhile? I''m considering this stone for an engagement ring and am kind of new to buying diamonds so I need all the help I can get.
I guess I''ll just lay down the specs...

That really looks just like it's a bit out of the GIA class I ideal rating and just on the border of an AGS 0 ideal rating.

Of course, that still looks like it could be a very nice stone. It's something you'd have to see in person to judge. It seems to be on the border using the HCA too.. Which once again means it could be a beautiful stone, but it could also not look quite as good as an ideal... Either way, it's probably still going to look beautfiul. I'm just shooting this at you in case you are really nitpicky about what you are getting. Anyone who is recieving that stone is sure going to be one happy person :-).

The price though, seems pretty good to me. You definitely aren't getting ripped off. When shopping around of course, there is always going to be a better deal... but if you find a stone you like at a good price, GRAB IT!. If everything else is within a few hundered dollars, don't even think about it.

So in short, it's definitely worthwhile... but if you are really picky about getting a perfectly cut ideal, you could probably get something with a slightly better cut (on paper at least).
