You haven''t mentioned who graded the diamond (GIA, AGSL, EGL?) - this could make a difference as to the accuracy of the clarity/colour grading as some labs have a reputation for being stricter than others.
And Cleo... DAMN! That''s an awesome rock you found! Now where did I leave that $30 000 I had lying around?Author: wawatu

Cleo, a wee trick here! It is likely it is a GIA graded diamond, as there are a few signs in the above post - it doesn't always follow, but it can give you a clue! Firstly the ' cutting - very good' is a grade GIA uses, AGS use different terms for cut grade, also the crown and pavilion angles being noted in angles suggest GIA or AGS ( I think in this case GIA). EGL normally use percents for these, so often it is a fair bet if you see c and p percents, it is an EGL graded rock, or less commonly HRD ( more often seen in Europe than US).style="WIDTH: 99.72%; HEIGHT: 244px">Date: 4/11/2008 6:33:24 AM

Ditto Lorelei's advice about buying an Idealscope and examining diamonds away from store lights if at all possible. It's great that you recognise the store lights will make pretty much anything look sparkly and pretty!

Lorelei mentioned you have a preference for shopping in stores, but I thought you might like to se this diamond just for comparison (slightly lower colour and size, but awesome cut):
