excellent cut
clarity - needle, pinpoint
Polish - excellent
cut - excellent
fluorescence - none
depth - 60.9
table - 57
pavilion angle - 41
crown angle - 34
culet - none
girdle - medium faceted

I am unsure as to the affect that a faceted girdle has on light reflection of a diamond.

would this be a good buy in a platinum setting for £1240.00???

Thanks for any help!!

Hi Cookster and welcome!

The diamond looks very nice, a faceted girdle is fine by the way - read more here.

Also you may know you could drop the clarity to VS comfortably with no visual sacrifice but this is a personal preference - if you want VVS then ignore that piece of advice!

Pricing - depends, is the diamond with an online vendor or store jeweller? Does the setting contain diamonds or is it a plain solitaire setting?

solitaire setting, from an online vendor. After lookng through the advanced tutorial on this site this seems to offer as much as a D colour with a very substantial reduction in cost??

A well cut G colour ( GIA/ AGS graded) is a sweet spot for many as it still looks extremely white, yet isn''t as costly as a D so it can be an excellent choice.
