Is there an easier way?

When I came here last year to start my diamond education and search I thought it would be easy. In fact, I''ve picked out several stones over the months but none have been "it".

Several months back I found this thread with fluoro!
I''m still infatuated and can''t get this diamond out of my head.

The hard part is searching for fluoro like this. With most vendors you can''t select for fluoro, some even have a policy against carrying these stones and still even when you find a strong blue it requires a contact with the vendor.

Since Wink supplied the stone in the thread I contacted him. Right now, he doesn''t not have any that meet my criteria.

Does anyone have a good resource for finding fluoro that pops like the one in Vf0''s thread?

Pick your budget.
Pick your Specs (for example Ideal AGS0 Hearts and Arrows H color, with StrongBlue Flour, .80-.99 carats)
Pick a vendor.
Send an email or give them a call.

It does not need to be H&A but does need to be ideally cut.
I will continue on the path of sending specs out to vendors.
My specs have changed somewhat with my quest for fluoro but should be no problem to accommodate. (Size: flexible (1.4ct+), Color: F-K, Clarity: VS2 (can''t go with SI in this situation), Budget: under $10k) Originally, I would have hesitated to go down to a K but I''ve grown very comfortable with it since searching for a SB diamond.
Part of my hesitation to email every vendor on Pricescope is I know it is extra work for them, taking pictures, etc. I thought perhaps there was a secret fluoro search engine

Not sure what Wink is doing... Did you drop you color requirement down to K since you talk to him?

At least the vendor''s I''ve worked with, who are Wink at highperformancediamonds.com and Brian and Lesley at briangavindiamond.com -- I also know just from conversations that Jon at goodoldgold.com and Mark at engagementringsdirect.com are very customer service oriented and would be very happy to help you find what you need.

To answer your question Wink and I have discussed that very diamond but it does not show the strong blue effect of the diamond in the thread I linked. It is an utterly gorgeous stone and I was hoping it would have that secret pop of blue in the right light but alas it does not.

And Gypsy I will continue to take solace in their enjoyment
