Hello and welcome! I love your three stone ring but I do think that the two wedding bands might be a bit much - what does your set look like just using one of the bands?

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

I agree - I think one band would look much better. Could you wear the spare band on your right hand?

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

I love your three stone but I would not wear those bands with it. How about a simple gold band instead?

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

Yea it does seem a bit much...I would go with 1 band or if you want to change but still have 2 rings then maybe get 2 thin prong set round rings to go on either side..beautiful rings though!

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

I personally love the look of mixing diamond shapes for sets. However I will agree with everyone else, while I don't mind it at all with 2 bands I think it would look better with just 1 band.

I think either a single baguette band or a plain band would really make the Ering pop. If you went with a plain band, could you wear these two as stackers on your RH? maybe put a YG or RG textured slim spacer style band in between to give some "pop"?

Just a thought!

Agreed! Maybe one or two thinner bands would be perfect, but I think what you currently have is just a bit overwhelming.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

Hi, I love your ER and your WB's but not together. It takes away from the diamonds in your ER IMO and makes them all sort of meld into one blob. Too overpowering and mutes the beauty of all the diamonds involved. I agree with Enerchi, Sarah, et al that you would be better off with a thinner WB and perhaps wearing your 2 lovely WB's on your other hand as a right hand ring. I am going though a similar situation in that I am trying to find a WB that will not take away from the beauty of my ER diamond.

Gorgeous ER and WB's!! Good luck in finding the combination that works for you!!

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

Beautiful rings! But I wouldn't wear them together. Funny, I am going through the same thing. I have a giant halo swallowing my diamond and flanking diamond bands. I am going to a 3-stone ring with thin bands on either side. One of my new PS friends told me that the center diamond should be the main course and everything else should be side dishes. Ha - a good way to think of it. Feature your beautiful center stone and use some thinner WBs. Just my opinion. :wavey:

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

I think one wedding band worn below the e-ring would look fine. You have beautiful rings! I think we aren't seeing that look much these days of wearing two bands above and below the e-ring. Some people are wearing two really thin bands below their e-ring, but few are wearing a band above it. I do think two takes away from the e-ring and looks busy. But one of those bands would be really pretty and I kind of like that it doesn't have rounds because then it might be too much bling (if there is such a thing!).

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

If you want to wear all rings then wear the two wedding bands stacked on your left 4th finger and wear the 3 stone ring on your right hand.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

I think they do overpower it yes. I think two really narrow micropave bands, or just one even, would be perfect, OR a plain one used as a spacer with a micropave band below it. OR a narrow baguette band with the stones set horizontally, vs vertically how yours presently are. The width of the bands individually is too much for me, and two of them with a really pretty 3 stone is too much. It swallows your really pretty 3 stone.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

Your three-stone is gorgeous. I think it would look elegant with a slim band.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

I vote for just one non-diamond band. Pretty e-ring!

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

Congratulations on such beautiful rings!
If you really like to two bands look why not try two much thinner (1/3 of a carat maybe?) full eternity diamond bands. It may not 'over power' your e-ring as your friend suggested.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

It does seem a little much.

I tend to like blingy 3-stones with more subdued bands -- like super thin eternity bands (1 or 2) or with a plain band or even a thinner tri-color rolling ring is a nice look.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

You have a stunning engagement ring but the beauty of it is lost between your bands. A plain band or thin micro pave band would complement it better. However if you love the baguette band than I think wearing only one would look nicer. Can't wait to see what you decide!

I second this, and your e-ring is amazing.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

I'd vote for one band, and possible a super skinny spacer in between the baguette band and the ering to give them a little more visual definition. But a pave eternity ring would also be pretty. :)

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

Your 3-stone band is stunning, really!! It's definitely getting overwhelmed by your 2 wbands, but as you've seen from other posts, it's a really easy fix.

I think the 3-stone ring would look FABULOUS if it was flanked by two extremely thin (1.3-5 mm or less) micro-pave bands (I'll try to find the PSers pic who had one from LM - I think). The micro-pave bands almost disappear and you're left with 2 slender rings of fire framing your 3-stone ring ... it's absolutely breathtaking.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

We are trying to tell you that it is too much to wear a band above the 3 stone ring. Choose any of the bands but wear ONE below the engagement ring as the wedding band. The third band above the e-ring is what is too much and taking away from the engagement ring!

I probably like the one with the round diamonds best with your e-ring. MissGotRocks has a similar set.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

They're all too much and too wide. Thinner and just one.

Re: is my weddings bands overpowering my e/ring, does it mat

I agree wirh u and thank u for the suggetion pic. Gona fo with a sngle round diamond band :appl: Thank u all once again mwa
