Dear members,

I am still looking for the perfect wedding ring .. and I find it really difficult especially in this part of the world..

I am glad i found a GIA certified diamond finally and i need your opinion on the diamond and weather the price is worth it or not. Below please find the details:

Shape and cutting style: Square modified Brilliant
Measurements: 7.81 x 7.80 x 5.79 mm
Carat weight: 3.00 carat
Color Grade: G
Clarity Grade: VS2
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Good
Fluorescence: Faint

The stone is priced at USD 43,500. Is it worth buying ??? please help :D

Seems overpriced. Similar GIA stones going for 30-35K.

Hi Caramella

Is it being sold from a jewellery store?

Yes from a jewellery store here in Dubai.

I wish i could buy from JamesAllen but the problem is they dont ship to dubai and i dont think it would be safe do so.

ah, well. Jewelry store in Dubai... totally different pricing than Internet pricing.

Ok, do you have any images of the diamond please? With fancy shapes such as Princess its very difficult to judge without images, I take it you have seen the stone in person? Do you have the depth and table percentages from the report?

The report doesnt have mpre information. I saw the diamond in person and it looked nice but guess it way over priced !
Any idea if JamesAllen can deliver to Dubai ? and if so do you think its safe ?

I would ask them Caramella, it could be entirely possible that they could deliver to you.

I''m sure Fedex operates in Dubai.

Fedex operates here .. i''ll check with james allen ..
I hope they do deliver :)

I don''t know how it works in Dubai, but here in Australia, Fedex delivers it into the country, then they pass it on to their preferred domestic carrier, which here happens to be Australain Air Express. Maybe check if they do that in Dubai as well, and find out how trustworthy their local guys are too.
