I am really not sure about those aboriginal costumes. They looks like really bad wrinkly skin. And fakey fake. No wonder they stirred people up with them!

They received a very lukewarm reception.

Look gimmicky to me.

I was not impressed.

And she kept fluffing her hair and it was bugging me!

I am I am! Meryl Davis went to my high school, a year older. I love watching people I know on TV!

With all those loose things hanging off their costumes, I was waiting for one to get pulled and the whole outfit to unravel. I thought a nice little wardrobe malfunction could liven things up a bit.

On a side note, maybe I''m totally out of touch, but since when have NHL players been allowed to be on the Olympic hockey teams? I mean, I thought all the athletes were supposed to be non-professional. Now that I think about it, I guess they do the same with baseball, basketball, etc, but I mean, really? Doesn''t this just dilute it?

That''s cool!

Their Indian dance just started. As soon as the music started, Chester started barking. I guess he doesn''t like their music.

My AB FAVE costume was that couple who danced to Johnny Cash ... kinda Dukes of Hazzard style with a notable contemporary touch: faux "tramp stamp" tattoo. SERIOUSLY! It was stenciled onto the female athlete''s flesh-colored body stocking.

NHL signed a deal with the Olympics a few years ago allowing NHL players to play in the Winter Olympics. But I think this might be the last year for a while since the NHL has been openly complaining about how much money they''re losing by not having the NHL games on in Feb. The Olympic committee on the other hand is annoyed with them too because they (rightly) say you can''t pick and choose which Olympics you want to be part of (NHL prefers North American Olympic venues, because it increases viewership of NHL hockey) so if they decide to be out for Sochi, then it might be out for good.

Crap! I went to bed and missed a fake tramp stamp! What next, fake mullets?

I was appalled by the hair pulling moves of the "aboriginal" team. Why so many? Why even one? I dislike how they totally forgot to play up their strengths as a team and relied too much on sensationalism, bad knee or not. You could tell the crowd was quite speechless as well, and not in a good way!
