Your childhood sounds similar to mine. I am so glad you are happy now. You are a sweetheart and I look forward to getting to know you much better. Once you come over the the who''s who section you will have a great laugh! Its a cosy smiley place!
Aw, Maisie, you''re PLENTY clever enough! Believe me, you should be SO glad you don''t live in the US right now! This election is CRAZY and I can''t wait til it''s over!!!Date: 10/24/2008 6:07:07 PM

Oooh yes definitely more relaxed! I''m not clever enough to post in Around the World anyway lol!!
(((((Hugs)))))
Wow, Maisie, how long ago did women get the right to vote in Great Britain? I''ve heard the same things about what the suffragists here in the US did to win the right to vote. I guess I never thought about the fact that women in other countries did the same things! I always try to make sure I vote in the presidential election, but I''m ashamed to say that I usually don''t vote in any other elections.Date: 10/24/2008 6:41:05 PM

I bet it is a bit mad right now! The awful thing is, when we have elections over here I never vote. I am too afraid to pick the wrong person! Those poor suffragettes, tying themselves to the railings and going on hunger strike so women could vote... and for what.. me to be too nervous to use it!
