I can''t believe I''m getting married in 8 weeks!!! We''re finally getting stuff done, and I just wanted to post some fun pics because I''m so excited!

We are going to have a white round dancefloor.
I LOVE the ceiling in this room! There are wall to ceiling windows around the whole ballroom with automatic shades. We will be having cocktail hour on the patio outside, and then when the room is ready, all the shades rise simultaneously.

It was my grandmother''s diamond, and we think it''s about 2.5 carats. Don''t have any other info on it, but we will have it appraised soon. Also, we took of the "rabbit ears" and have welded on a simple white gold chain. I think it''s beautiful!

It all looks gorgeous! I love your hair style too - actually considering doing something similar for mine. Yours looks so shiny and like it doesn''t have any product in at all - true?!

Thank you Beaming! I''m actually glad to hear you say that about the hair...I couldn''t BELIEVE how much hairspray and gel the stylist was putting in, and I was so worried that it would look sticky and nasty. I can''t say it felt exactly soft in person, but at least it looks good in the pics!!!
Actually, I am going to post another thread at some point to ask people what they think is the best hair spray to use in updos, because I just didn''t love the one the lady used...

How beautiful!! The ceremony site... (where is that by the way) is GORGEOUS!!! And the reception ballroom... all I can say is WOW!! How awesome to have hte shades go up!! It''s really really nice!

Thanks Sujuann! The location is the Skirball Center in Los Angeles, and as soon as I saw I fell in love! If you look in the coutyard picture (where the ceremony will be), you can see a staircase in the back behind the pond. The bride first appears on the balcony and then walks down those stairs. My parents will meet me at the bottom of the stairs and escort me the rest of the way. LONG WALK!!! I can''t wait!
