I got the latest sample images back from my invitation designer. Which do you like better? I'm leaning towards #2 but possibly with the font justified to the left - I think this looks more modern and casual than right justified? But I really want to know what you think!

ETA: Oh my. I messed up right and left in the paragraph above. I want to change #2 to right justified. Eek!

Here's #1:

And here is #2:

Hmm I like number 2. Not sure why, but I do.

Here''s the original thread

Do you think the font is better?

I can''t seem to figure out if the "to" between our names should be script or type letters?

Ok, so the font justification is what changed right? Hmmm...okay. I think the "to" should be in script. I say this because in the original thread, the cover piece your names are in script and the "and" is in script. So unless you''re going to change it there, too...I think it should be in script. I like both justifications, but I think I will stick with number 2. I definitely like the flower more on this one than on the original one!

Sarah - aren''t you supposed to be studying or something?

I think that the fact that the flower is triangular is the problem. I think the thing looks more balanced when it''s not split halfway down the middle like in #1 and in the previous incarnation. Rule of thirds and all. In number 2, she enlarged the flower and the point is kind of mirroring the flow of the font, which I think is nice. She lightened up the color so that it could overlap a little. If I change #2 to right justified, I think that she should flip the flower as well.

But I''m not a graphic designer, hence why I''m posting here.

Honestly, I''m a little annoyed that she hasn''t had more input in how to design these things to look good rather than just copying verbatim what I say. I guess it''s kind of "you get what you pay for". Oh well.

I like the font better than the original and I think I like #1 in this thread best...maybe it''s because the flower is darker? I''m not sure. Props to you on the colors. I want to use the same for my wedding.
