Invitations, your opinion on this????

Ladies:
What are your thoughts on going with something bold for invitations? We are second timers taking our family and guests to a destination wedding half way across the world, so tradition is going out the window in some instances...

i actually really love these! yes, they are bold, but they are also very elegant. i just printed an invitation for a gala on a deep navy like this. it turned out fabulous and i received lots of compliment on it. i say go for it!

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback! We have chosen a very clean readable script, and we are including the logo of the Castello di Meleto just underneath the line where we announce the location of the wedding. I think a pearly white ink would be just fabulous!

Now I have to think about coordinating programs and menus!

It''s nice. It looks different compared to traditonal invitations. That dark blue color is so pretty.

I see a major problem with those invites. If your guests don''t have a white/metalic pen they won''t be able to fill out the RSVPs.

I think they look very cool and sophisticated...though I''m wondering how your guests will RSVP too. Either way...nice pick!

I love the invites! They are very elegant and different! Something I would definitely hang on to...but Tacori brings up a very valid point: what will your guests use as a pen for the R.S.V.P.? have you considered doing a white/black print r.s.v.p. card? It would make a nice contrast within your invite envelope....but I LOVE the invites!!!

OMG! I ordered these samples. My wedding is in shades of blues. I absolutely think they are divine.

I love them! Totally elegant! Although the rsvp''s are a bit of a problem. white and navy maybe? Or a white check box?

Thanks for your input and suggestions. The reply card that I will use is actually bordered in navy blue with a white center, sorry I didn''t mention that! The envelopes are also white with a navy flap.

I just thought they were really neat and different! I''ll post pics of the finished product when ready. We actually have to print them in two lots, in Italian and in English!

You guys at PS are always very helpful and I greatly appreciate the feedback!

I love them, especially now that you have pointed out that the reply cards will be white in the center.

I actually prefer bold invites to frilly white traditional ones. But that''s because I am in love with color in general.
