With the wedding just under 3 months away, I really need to get my invitations done!

I designed some invites using graphics on my computer, and need to see how they turn out printed. For anyone who has used staples, office depot, kinkos or anyone else, how was the print quality? Any advice? I am so nervous the invitations will look cheap!!!

I printed mine on my photo printer at home set on the highest quality setting and they turned out great. Everyone was surprised to hear that I designed/printed them myself.

In other experience, Kinkos has been okay; I haven''t had any problems with them.

We printed ours out ourselves, including vellum and some heavy graphics on cardstock. We used a high print setting on a laser printer, and they turned out great! If you''re getting them done somewhere else, can you do a test run first (one or two invitations) to make sure the quality is what you are expecting?

I''ve never used staples or office depot, but Kinkos has always worked well for my printing needs. The staff there is helpful and really knows about printers/papers which I would not expect from an office supply store.

I would recommend going at a slow time to spend time talking with the staff about what you are envisioning, asking about paper options and prices. Then do some test prints, on multiple types of paper if possible, to see what would look best with your design.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice! I am going to run by Staples, and Kinkos and have them print me a sample. HOWEVER, now I have this vision of a few details on the invitations being embossed. I just HAVE to make things complicated!

I have the same question, so please let us know how it goes!
