I’ll avoid a moonstone so it’s not an exact copy but I really love the style of your ring. It’s fancy but in a “oh this giant old thing? Yeah I just wear it on school runs. It’s my casual look!” I like those vibes!!!!!

This moonstone probably won’t be worn as a “rummage ring” (@mellowyellowgirl’s apt term). For rummaging and everyday use I prefer rubies, sapphires, spinels and jadeite.

It even has the same number of diamonds in the halo!

This moonstone probably won’t be worn as a “rummage ring” (@mellowyellowgirl’s apt term). For rummaging and everyday use I prefer rubies, sapphires, spinels and jadeite.

I know that emerald ranks higher on the Mohs scale but not on toughness, however, from what I’ve read that’s because emerald’s jardin makes it less resistant to knocks.

For a stone like Minerva with few inclusions, would you still not wear it daily?

Oh my goodness thank you for posting that!!! It really does look like Chansey’s long lost big sister!!!! Haha I’m tickled that Chansey is twinning with the fancy gems!

Umm, Minerva has quite a high dome and she tends to attract a lot of attention. I was at a VCA exhibition and at times, it felt as if Minerva was an exhibit. The same happened at auction viewings and jewellery stores.
