I thought this was interesting. It's a large Andesine ring, in a different setting. You can wear it North-South, or East-West.
I tried it on because I thought it might be uncomfortable, but it felt ok on my pinkie. (It was too small for my ring finger.)
Anyway, I thought it was unusual, so I'm sharing. (Sorry for the ugly hands!) ::)

So the opening on all sides are of the same size?

I suppose the stone must be large otherwise the shank will overpower the ring.

Yes, I think that's a given. I don't know if it would be possible to make that sitting on a smaller scale for smaller stones. I've never seen such a setting before, so it intrigued me. I don't think it's gorgeous, but it's interesting.

Perhaps a 5 stone would be more realistic? A center stone with 2 EW sides and 2 NS sides? Ohhh...that would look very antique!

What do you mean by realistic? I don't quite understand. Do you mean more practical?

Realistic was a poor word choice. Yes, practical is a better descriptor.

Maybe so....but some bling is just that....bling! Not practical. Lol
I was just sharing the unique setting with the jewelry lovers on PS, since I too love to see beautiful stones and unique settings.

I think it's quite interesting. Thanks for sharing.

My words aren't coming out correctly today. I appreciate your sharing this novel setting and I know it doesn't sound that way from my posts above. ;(

VERY interesting........thanks for sharing!! Gets creative juices flowing!

My pleasure! :) Love CS, to look here on PS, and happy to share!
:wavey: Chrono, no problem, your posts are always informative and I appreciate them!

MASSIVE stone! but, what a creative way to set it and totally solve the N-S/E-W debate ;-)
