insuring a diamond

In your experience...do you typically insure though your typical insurance? P and C insurance? do you have an idea of how much it costs?

Right now my ring is insured through my regular insurance with State Farm, but I might switch it to Jewelers Mutual because State Farm does not cover it (anymore) if the diamond gets damaged, only if it is lost or stolen. Does anyone have any experience with Jewelers Mutual?
