Hello Everyone,

I am newly engaged and I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas on who will insure an e-ring in the Northern Virginia area? I have goten the run around a few times today already. I do not have renters insurance and I don''t have a home for homeowners insurance. Any ideas or tips would be great. For the time being I guess I will continue to wrap her hand in bubble wrap.

Thanks,

1) Look at the Faq section here, where they'll review Jeweler's Mutual, a replacement policy, which is what you'd get if you did have a rider on renter's or homeowners, and is the more common variety, and also
2) Chubb, which can be challenging to get, is a money back policy, and costs more if you can get it. Search on "Chubb" here to find the guy (Dave) that sells a lot of this, and see if he services Virginia
3) First, I'd try State Farm, which in my search in MD was cheaper than Jewelers Mutual, does sell a stand alone policy, and you can talk to an agent. I went instead with my homeowner's rider, but was tempted by State Farm.

Good luck!
