The photos will all be perfect squares (SarahB's are not from Instagram), and a lot of times, filters are added, frames added, it might be multiple in one collage.

Maybe Instagram is the latest brand name to cross over into generic word status … as did kleenex, escalator, jello, zipper, aspirin, dry ice, thermos, laundromat, Yo-Yo, heroin, videotape, linoleum, lanolin, cellophane, xerox, and now app store.

I'm likely behind the times.

Instagram bling photos are great because so many of us take them regularly - it's really easy. None of these above have filters added, but some of the filters really make the images pop.

I KNOW madelise has a million more beautiful ones she could share...

Instagram is a specific App that you can take your own photos with your phone or from anywhere on the internet and quickly crop and do other things like add different light filters, frames and adjust different focuses. You can then post them or directly message them to other people. It's like FB but with only pics. And it's also like twitter in a way where you can follow all different celebs or anyone really and see all of their pics. It's my favorite of all of the different social medias.

I avoid using any filters on my photos on IG. They look good for people-pictures, but not for bling.
