In Love Again! End of the "crooked diamond tale of woe".

My setting is now perfect. I'm impressed with the bench person, who is my favorite person right now.

I knew the stone was crooked, but I didn't realize how poorly it was set until it was set correctly. Also, the melee are securely housed & the ring is replated, more heavily this time. It looks beautiful to me again.
I am SO happy to have it right.

If I were not on PS learning what's good I may never have realized that the stone was not actually seated.

I can't get over the difference between "before" and "after".

Thanks! It's very comfortable with no sense of pressure where it rests on the finger.

That is certainly what we strive for here
When I got it back the actual diamond itself looked amazing. I had been quite happy with the diamond but never thought of it as "OMG".

They must have super-cleaned it. I could not get over it - and even checked the AGS# to be sure it was the same stone..
[as though they would take my ACA and replace it with something even better].
I went out today and bought & used a diamond Dazzle Stick and then polished the top with my WF polishing cloth and I'm getting 98% of the same result.
Apparently the glass cleaner I'd been using was leaving a film.
So now I'm totally celebrating : )

postscript:
I am ridiculously pleased this evening. I just looked at my ring under the UV light on my loupe and one of the replacement melee has very strong fluorescence! I have never seen a flour. diamond before & had no idea how remarkable they are. Now I want a big one
I think of that glowing blue stone as a blessing on the ring : )
