Lesley I am considering studs from Whiteflash and it''s the import duty in Belguim 21% that''s choking me. But my parents live in the UK so......

I''ve written to one of the people mentioned in the article, asking exactly what percentage of overall cost will be charged as import duty in the light of this EU decision.

I''ll let you know what he says.

It is frustrating for us in the UK, prices are waaaay higher. For ex, Tiffany''s ''bubble'' ring is $3K more in the UK than in the US. Yet we paid 21% import on a $10k e ring from the States, so it''s still a drag.

It makes better sense to hop over on a cheap flight!
