I'm off the list!

Well LIWs, consider this me helping with getting the list moving - we got engaged on Friday night.
To be honest, it wasn't too much of a surprise, as we'd done the diamond research and shopping (an AVC set in BGD) back in July, and we'd had a weekend away planned for this weekend in October as it is my fiance's birthday.

But anyway... on Friday night we were at a special dinner - 10 course degustation with matched wines (we both love food), and towards the end of dinner, he proposed. But, he didn't have the ring on him as he'd forgotten to bring it along on our weekend away! He was quite annoyed with himself - but it was funny - typical forgetful man of mine.

When we got home on Sunday afternoon, he presented me with the ring - and asked again. I said yes of course.
We'd already been discussing what we wanted to do about a wedding, and are thinking of a destination wedding, most likely in Koh Samui in Thailand.
