Hello! When I got married this summer, I chose a temporary plain 2mm white gold band because I couldn''t find a sparklier band I loved. My e-ring is a little over 1ct, white gold round solitaire (size 4) in a 2mm Tiffany style plain setting. Because my ring size is so small, some of the wedding bands I''ve tried on have felt really chunky and too big. I tried a channel set eternity band from Apples of Gold, but it looked like a washer from the side! I''d love something that looks more delicate with diamonds or something unique with just engraving. Does anyone have hand shots of your size 4 or 5 diamond wedding bands?

Thanks--can''t wait to hear from you!

I have small fingers too. My original bands were 4.5, although I wear a bit larger now. I''ve been looking ar cathedral settings. They are narrow on the sides and have their bulk on the top of the ring instead. They will look good on your small fingers.

I wear a 4.25 tight (my fingers tend to fluctuate between a 3.75 and a little bigger than a 4). I got this ring from VanCraeynest. It's my favorite piece of jewelry and they make each ring to fit your finger, so I didn't have to resize it... they just made it in my size to begin with!

ETA: Go to www.vancraeynest.com! That's the website.

Try www.signedpieces.com

They made my wedding band, and I wear a 3.5! No problems; they will make whatever size you need.

here''s a picture of my old wedding set:

mrssalvo''s set is very pretty... I really like the look of a plain band solitaire with a shared prong band.

HERE is a link to a Whiteflash shared prong band. It is 2.3mm.

Here''s my set. My fingers are size 2.75, so I understand what you mean about rings looking too bulky! My band is 3mm.

And here it is on its own.

Here is my wedding set. My wedding band is 4 1/4 with 1/4 ctw. On the contrary, I want to change my band to something thicker like a channel set with 8 or 9 diamonds. Good luck in your search!

When we first got married, I wore a 4 1/4. My set was a soitaire with a 4mm plaine gold band. Now my fingers are a 5. I will have to see if I can find a picture...

I wear a size 3.5. You can see my set in my avatar. I vote for a 2-3mm shared prong band from WF or Signed Pieces.

i too have small hands and have this lovely beverly k ring (it''s not a wedding ring for me but people usually use it for wedding band - my bf gave it to me just because :) i fell in love with it at first sight (he''s a great guy!) - i get compliments all of the time.

there is also a smaller version -

the only thing is that the design goes all the way around and it would be nice to have a piece that was solid for resizing, not scratching when grabbing door knob, etc. but it is beautiful nonetheless.

i saw a version on this website as well

good luck :)!

I have a 7 stone wedding band with 7 pointers from www.signedpieces.com that's a size 4.5. It sits very low and is very comfortable. I think it's no more than 3 mm in width.

while my fingers aren''t as slender as yours you can get a custom band from any number of places. i got mine from whiteflash; it''s a 7-stone shared prong setting that sits very low and is sparkly and, i think, very delicate. but enough that it adds oooph to my ER and can be worn alone. still, it''s understated. if you want to see pics look for the post ''hooray for whiteflash and me!'' and you can see many close up shots of that ring. my ring was sized 5.75 (why don''t i have tiny fingers, i am not a big girl?!), my ER is 5.5 - well, anyway, i LOVE 3.5mm 7 stone shared prong ring. made for me by whiteflash. it''s tiffany-inspired and i saved $3k.
