So sounds like the piece you have on consignment you do not want anymore, obviously, that is why it is for sale.
From a pure “financial” point of view, sounds like Grace is making a great deal here. She is giving you about 40% of the value of what you are trying to sell thru her and at the same time if you buy from her at retail, she bought or put together the item “wholesale”.
Now you cannot put a dollar sign in front of everything, you will never be happy. I think lots of jewelry purchases are emotional decisions and make you happy and put a smile on your face when you wear it. You deserve that enjoyment.
