if money wasn''t an issue I would spend it differently than on a *3* carat D IF If I had 300k to blow on diamonds I''d have *several* 3 carat diamonds in a variety of shapes with lower color and clarity.

I wouldn''t buy that one for that money, I would want a tighter cut for a start and personally I wouldn''t want the D IF, but the cut is the main issue for me. This could be improved on, hardly a train wreck, but for that money I would want better.

I was merely pointing out that to find a stone that big, and with such amazing clarity and colour.. I would imagine would be rare.

Ha ha, well if some man offered me that one I wouldn't say no. However, money would need to really not be an issue, there would need to be atleast another1,000 x $300.000 in the account or I wouldn't be spending that much on any diamond.

Yes, that is a VERY rare stone and how NEAT that you got to see it!!! And yes, it would be fun to have so much money that the cost would not be an issue! Maybe Melania can get it for a pinky ring or something!
