I am getting many conflicting quotes from some brokers on this. I was originally told when I purchased it in 2007 that it was a Argyle tendered stone. I had one guy tell me it wasn't and was trying to low ball me. I'm considering selling it but I need to get more feedback from fellow diamond owners as to whether or not it has some good value.
 
Someone was just posting about this mine the other day, they said that the diamonds come with their own certificate which it looks like you have. Hopefully someone can chime in and confirm!
 
It looks like it has all the certs and is inscribed as an Argyle stone, I’m not sure why anyone would be trying to persuade you otherwise. Where did you buy it from? You can look for comparisons on site like Leibish. Maybe you could get it appraised??
 
IIRC, there are Argyle stones and Argyle tendered stones. The tendered stones are featured in the catalog, which aren’t easy to locate. I wonder if the person who told you it isn’t a tender stone was just trying to low ball you or actually has the 2007 catalog and didn’t find your stone in it. Perhaps contact Rio Tinto and see if they can validate it either way?

A few years back someone who had access to the 2007 Tender Catalog posted the lot list in the CS forum, see below. I don’t see your stone listed so you probably have an Argyle diamond, but not an Argyle Tender diamond.

I wonder if @Rockdiamond would have some input on this.

From the photo it looks like quite a lovely stone! And it is inscribed with the Argyle logo.
 
kgizo is correct, there's Argyle and Argyle Tender ( more costly)
In terms of a consumer selling such a stone: it's a rare stone, so likely most buyers won't understand the rarity/value.
Those that DO understand what it is are likely to try to pay a pretty low price compared to current retail.
Consignment or a private sale maybe?
 
More: I'd recommend submitting back to GIA for the full report- you might get I1- but buyers will pretty much assume I1 with the half report.
The new report will give you better leverage in either a private or trade sale.
The Argyle paperwork is great to have...but unfortunately, Argyle is not really all that good at identifying or verifying non-tenderer stones.
We've also had stones with the Argyle inscription which we knew were actually Argyle. But there's plenty of places with the capability of laser inscription, so on it's own, it's not enough.

It appears that all of the stones on the tender list are stronger than Fancy. So it makes logical sense that the provenance of the OP's stone is Argyle, but not "Argyle tender".
 
It is beautiful and I'm jealous of your Argyle certed diamond! I have several pinks but none from Argyle I regretfully admit.

I recently received an email from Leibish, Co. stating they are doing a buyback (?) program for Argyle diamonds. Because I don't own any I deleted it. You should reach out to them. But honestly, my gut says if they are actively looking that hard for them you should hang on for fear life to it because the value is about to go through the stratosphere! Or, you could just give it to me...;)2

Yes it is inscribed with the Argyle number and Argyle symbol!

Yes I was on the GIA site and have been considering sending it in for a more complete report. Looks to me that the broker I bought from in 2007 cheaped out on the basic report. The Argyle Certificate is authentic and the inscription number is archived in Argyle's Database. I looked it up today. I'm learning more and more each day. LOL Back in 2007 I just knee jerk bought it without a ton of due diligence. I trusted the broker. I never got screwed as it is a nice stone and everything checks out.

It's currently locked up in my safety deposit box. Next time I have it out I will take some more pictures.
 
You have heard from the Rockdiamond. He deals in these things. He is passionate. If I owned such a diamond and did not do what to do with it, I might "think" about talking with the Rockdiamond. He and I often disagree about "things," but he knows a lot about color...

Well, seeing as the Arygle mine is due to close in 2020, supply of pink diamonds will be slim.
They are certainly very popular here in Australia with our Japanese visitors, they love them and don’t even flinch at huge prices. Last pink I saw at my jewellers, a .31 carat had a $30,000 price tag. It was a one from a Tender but still.......

I was looking into this and It's not so easy as an individual to send expensive diamond from Canada to USA. Insurance from Fed Ex was 2400.00. I paid all my taxes on this when I bought it so then I need to figure out how to do this without having to pay taxes again. Really frustrating at this point.

For that kind of money you could take it to GIA yourself
 
Exactly my thought. Take it in person and/or combine it with a nice holiday or fly twice, it would be worth it. Alternatively you can expedite service.

True, and I still have to claim it going into the US customs and I have to claim it coming back through Canada Customs. I am currently setting up a appraisal with a local diamond specialist (35 years GIA certified) to see if they can handle all the logistics. What I have found out is many of the brokers , appraisers have the corporate insurance and abilities to deal with the logistics because they are regularly sending stones for lab reports.
