I am hoping to get a diamond to go with one I already have to make a pair of 8-pronged martini earrings. I have the specs of my first diamond, although they're limited because my GIA cert is from 2004. My budget all tolled is $2,500 (I *may* be able to go $2,700, but that's IT). Here are the specs of my current diamond:

GIA Report NO. 13803179
Shape: RB
Meas: 6.2-6.24 x 3.80 mm
Weight: 0.90 carat
Depth: 61.1%
Table: 57%
Girdle: Medium, faceted
Culet: None
Polish: Very good
Symmetry: Good
Clarity: SI1
Color: H
Fluorescence: None

I don't mind going down to an I or J if there's some fluor and I don't *think* I mind going down to SI2. I do know I want it to be GIA certified, not EGL.

Thanks in advance.

I honestly think you would be better served sending your stone to a vendor and having them find you a match.

With "good" symmetry it's unlikely to match the H&As and near-H&As that we see so often on POS in looks or in light return style, and I don't think you'd want a so-called superideal in one ear and one that's not in the other - I think you'd see the difference in both patterning and performance, especially since it is a sizable stone..
