I need help putting together an Engagement Ring

The time has come in my relationship where i am going to ask my gf to marry me in the coming months. Ive been doing my research on rings for about 2 weeks ago mainly with a few trips into the NYC Diamond District, but its come to the point where im getting sick of getting the hard sell every time i walk into a jeweler.When it comes to finding what i am looking for online i am clueless and was wondering if the forum could help me out a bit.

Budget
Currently im looking to spend around $3,800 give or take alittle bit. I really dont want to be one of those people that go take out a loan to buy a ring.Do you think my current budget is realistic for what im looking to get?

Setting
The setting i would like to get is very similar to this one http://www.whiteflash.com/Engagement-Rings/Styles/3Stone/3-Stone-Antique-Style-Engagement-Ring_657.htm# . That ring has pretty much everything im looking for but i would love for the sidestones to be round, and not pear like it is on that setting. Do you guys know where i could find something like that?

Diamond
The Diamond im looking for would preferably be around .70ct round stone.

Did you try using the "Cut Qualitly Search"? What are your color/clarity criteria? Looks like you have about
$2100 to spend on a stone...should be able to find something in a H SI1 for around that price. Let us know
what exactly you are looking for.

For the stone i guess the min criteria i would like is I, SI1, and a nice cut. I had never seen that knox jewlers site they have some nice stuff. Thanks a bunch.
