...that I LOVE my fiance (!) and this ring!!!!


He proposed this morning in a lovely little park near the diner he suggested we go to for breakfast this morning as celebration for passing his prelim yesterday. Breakfast was a ploy to get me to the location, so when we got there he said "hey, let's check out this park down here first...", where he said some beautiful things and popped the question on one knee. He forgot to open the ring box before he asked, and I said yes before he realized it, but at least he's now covered for any and all suggestions that I said yes just for the ring (which had my jaw on the ground the second I saw it!).

I'll make a thread in SMTR after I get some better shots, but here's a preview:

ETA: Magic Manicure does it again! I went last night and got a mani, and less than 12 hours later I was engaged!

Med Blue Fluor - The sun NEEDS to come out, I want to see this baby''s blues! I think I saw hints of it under today''s cloudy sky, but there''s a chance I was fooling myself.

As I was walking outside today and passing from cloudy sun to shade, I got to see some of the character of my stone, and I LOVE it. The more direct light made it blazing white, and in the shade it''s such a little disco ball! We had dinner tonight at a candle-lit restaurant and it reminded me of how firey the rings look at Tiffany''s with all their crazy spotlighting. I told my FI we should go in there to try on wedding bands and see my ring in their "magic light".
