I just witnessed the birth of a baby

My best friend just had her baby. She's let me be with her almost every step of the way (she called me on the way to the store to buy the pregnancy test) and tonight when I went to wait it out at the hospital, she asked me to be in the room with her. I've never felt so blessed in my life. I will never have children of my own, but tonight I got to see what really is a miracle. I don't know why, but I felt compelled to share with you all.
